Navid is a student of Persian descent who is West Beverly Hills High’s politico. Known as the one who runs the school newscast, The Blaze, and gets the juice on all his fellow classmates, he's seen as a social outcast is the rarefied society of the school.
He quickly befriends Dixon, when the Wilson's join the school, while fostering a crush on Annie. He also has feelings for Adrianna liking her since middle school. He eventually tells her how he feels and helps her with her various, hidden problems. Navid comes from a close, though unconventional, family - his father is the most successful producer of pornographic films in the world.
