There's a heatwave in 90210, as Annie has a hot conversation with Ethan, who tells her for the first time that he loves her. Debbie and Tabitha bicker, as Tabitha believes the air-conditioning damages her delicate vocal cords, even though the weather is making everyone wilt. Many at the school believe that Adrianna is using drugs again, due to her strange behaviour. But Adrianna reveals the secret that she's pregnant to Naomi and Navid, who individually handle the news differently than expected. Harry has to cancel school when the air-conditioning at the school breaks down, and everyone gets a free day off from school.
When Dixon reveals the depths of his feelings to Silver, their relationship takes a surprising turn. Meanwhile, Tabitha surprises Annie and Dixon with an unexpected Christmas gift, and she further announces to both Harry and Debbie that she has decided to return to acting. Elsewhere, Annie and Ethan take an escape from a winter heat wave to the desert beauty of Tabitha's house in Palm Springs.
