As opening night of the West Beverly Hills High theatrical event Spring Awakening' nears, Annie and Ty have had a chance to spend a lot of time together and Ty reveals his plans for a one-on-one after-party in his hotel room. Harry catches Annie and Ty kissing backstage and later he and Debbie express their concern for how fast Annie’s relationship is progressing.
Silver is overwhelmed with stage managing the play so Dixon offers to help backstage, prompting the two to get close. Naomi refuses to accept her parents' divorce and is determined to get them back on track. Brenda, Kelly and Ryan confront Adrianna about an obvious substance abuse problem, giving Annie the chance to take the lead in the play.
