90210:
Series 1
The new series of 90210 focuses on the ups and downs of the Wilson family, who relocate from smalltown USA and head to the glitz and glamour of Beverly Hills. Harry Wilson decides to relocate his family to California to look after his acerbic mother, the former television star Tabitha. Harry lands a job as principal at his former High School, West Beverly Hills High.
This further complicates tthe lives of his kids, the theatrical, innocent Annie and her adopted brother Dixon. Annie was happy in Kansas, where she'd just landed the lead in the school play and was settled with her boyfriend. Dixon was a star athlete, excelling at lacrosse. Both struggle with their new lives in California. After initially befriending West Beverly's most popular girl, Naomi, their friendship soon gets complicated when Annie gets closer to lovable Jock Ethan Ward, an old flame of Annie's and Naomi's current beau. Dixon also has his troubles with Ethan. As a great lacrosse player, Dixon expects to be accepted into the school's team - but soon finds his team-mate's are jealous of his skills and try to jeopardise his career.
Soon all the Wilson's are struggling to adapt to life in 90210. An old girlfriend of Harry's appears on the scene and adds a little turbulence to the seemingly perfect marriage of Harry and Debbie. Debbie herself clashes with her forthright mother-in-law Tabitha and finds the change from small-town wedding photographer to high profile Los Angeles fashion photographer a difficult transition.
Throughout series 1, the Wilson's must cope with the pressures of life in a new town; the beautiful people, the social backstabbing, the relationships and jealousies of 90210.
