About

In 1975 E4 invented the internet. We just didn't bother telling anybody. Years later - and after everyone else had a pop at this web malarky - we returned in 2007 with a sparkly new online home that was much, much funner than every other website in the world.

After a hefty brainstorm that cost us two weeks, one billion dollars and the lives of two sacrificial swans, we decided to call it E4.com.

What you can do here

We've carved E4.com up into a number of sensible sections. Observe thus:

  • TV Shows: All of the finest telly programmes on E4 live here, in their own, specially designed web lairs.
  • Videos: If we've got a clip off the telly, this is where you'll find it. It's also the place to find videos that have been uploaded by folk like yourself.
  • Games: 100s and 100s of the web's best games all in one place, with some that are exclusive to E4 and more added every single day.
  • Do it & win: compete in challenges for glory or prizes, by sending in pics and vids. This is where you'll also find more traditional competitions (not pin the tail on the donkey - we're talking multiple choice answers) and the best stuff that people have uploaded.
  • WTF: stands for Where's The Fun? Home of quizzes, In a Minute puzzles, animations and lots of other fun stuff that is neither a TV show or a game. It's like a drop-in centre for homeless clowns: so much fun but no place to go.

What’s all this about uploading stuff?

You can upload any video you like on E4.com (providing you made it and it doesn’t land us in jail). Just log in, or register, then click 'upload video' on your profile page. You may first want to visit Do it & win to see whether we're asking for submissions - you never know, you might win something.

I'm in a terrible mess and need some help

Your best bet is to head to our Help section, which is stoked with FAQs and has contact information if you require the personal touch.

So, to summarise…

If I were you, I'd signup for an account. It doesn't cost you a penny and it's certainly the best thing you'll do today. Unless you've just rescued someone from a burning building, in which case it'll probably be the second best thing you’ll do today.
