Being Erica:

Kai Booker is the mysterious twenty-two year old barista working at Goblins Cafe. On the surface, Kai seems like your everyday Queen Street West hipster, with a talent for singing and songwriting.

Soon after she first meets Kai, Erica comes to suspect that there's more to their budding new friendship than just lattes. But the more Erica tries to get Kai to open up, the more he shuts down and dodges her efforts.

From Erica's point of view, their friendship is complicated and difficult to explain to others. What can these two possibly have in common? But like Erica, Kai knows a thing or two about regrets. And while they may share the biggest secret of all (that they both time travel), there are other secrets Kai just can't bring himself to reveal.
