Glee

Since we announced E4's acquisition of Glee back in September, we've been inundated with enquiries about when we'll be showing it. The series doesn't start 'til January, but as an early Christmas present we've decided to show the first episode on E4 in mid-December. Whoop!

Glee has become a phenomenon in the US, so we really can't wait to share it with you.

We'll announce the broadcast date and time next week, in time for the launch of our lovely Glee website, which we're busy adding sparkly things to as we speak.

Ive only seen the pilot and the first episode but as first impressions go i think thie series is goin to be brilliant. The talent is unbelievable and the storyline is very interesting. Its not like high school musical where they just burst into song for no reason which is better.

plus if it wasn't so amazing, why would Joss Whedon want to direct an episode and why would Madonna be so willing to give the rights to her entire music collection? seriously watch the pilot and if you don't like it fair enough but don't just before you haven't seen it.

it's not exactly like high school musical, because the characters don't just randomly burst into song singing about their lunch. It's not for ten year olds in my mind cause because some of the content a ten year old might not get. i never liked high school musical but this I like it's different and the songs, are songs people recognised, like Somebody to Love, Don't Stop Believin, Halo/walking on Sunshine mash up and many others in future episodes. If this was high school musical why would Ryan Murphy be involved who made Nip/Tuck?

I've watched an episode of it. If you like high school musical, you'll like this...I don't like high school musical because im not ten years old, so I hated this with a fiery passion. usual sickly sweet american stuff they seem so fond of over the pond. think of soiled pants...with musical numbers. the only amusing character is the cheerleaders coach.
