We'll also have preview clips of every episode pretty damn soon, AND we're working late on a Friday to do all this for you, so act grateful ok.

See the new website.

Series five of One Tree Hill starts at 9pm on Monday, June 9th on E4.

Have a great weekend.

The E4 Evel Knievel Team Jumps the River Thames!

RocketIf you were crossing Putney Bridge on Sunday 25th May. You may have taken a double take as just above the shoreline glistening in the brief sunshine. You would have taken a first glimpse of the E4’s ‘Evel Knievel Rocket Skycycle’.

The full-size replica of the famous ‘Snake River Canyon’ Rocket was once again poised to cross a fast-flowing river, this time ‘Old Father Thames’. A feat the great Evel himself considered. The E4 Evel Knievel team had set up camp on the banks of the prestigious Putney Wharf complex. The team joined in the day’s events at The Wandsworth Arts Festival which was winding up at the wharf.

However the Rocket remained firmly tethered to its take-off ramp, as let’s say, weather conditions thwarted its attempt to cross the Thames. And maybe the fact that apart from a small effects rocket booster, the rocket itself has no engine!

It's all in good cheek as this monster is our ride for The Redbull Flutag. It’s actually pronounced ‘Floog-tag’. The Rocket with Evel (that’s me!), will be pushed along its launch ramp, and unless a major miracle occurs will end up in Hyde Park’s Serpentine seconds later!

The highly-trained team (sniggers) has been working on the creation for over four weeks now and the Arts Festival proved to be a great dress rehearsal. The main event is in a little less than two weeks' time.

Cheers!

To give it an American feel the E4 Cheerleading troop brightened up the day with some slick dance routines. They made everyone forget about the typical English Bank Holiday weather and smiles were had by all. The troop took the opportunity to finalise their routines and hope to psych up the some 80,000 fans on the day. They will be wearing their E4 t-shirts and waving their pom-poms and helping to get the crowds into a party mood.  Head cheerleader Jessica said, 2We cannot wait to dance and show off our moves. And if a wet Sunday can be this much fun, bring on a roasting Saturday and an 80,000 crowd!"

The girls also used the time to raise over fifty pounds for Breast Cancer . "Well done girls!"

The Flugtaggers are all on the final push of the build now and competition is very tight. We hope our little rocket excites the crowd and we have a couple of tricks up our sleeve to hopefully sway the judges. So if you’re coming down on the day, bring an air-horn or your best set of lungs and get those Evel shouts going!

Come on E4 - let's give London the best show on earth!

Look at this! It's young Russell Brand, before he got a stylist. When he was just a little bit chubby, and his hair's just like that guy from IT you avoid at office parties.

Are you charmed? Are there any more wonders like this on E4.com? You  bet. We've uploaded over 100 lovely bits of E4 trailery-promoey-identy fun - from the Voiceover Man's greatest hits, to the horror that is the E4 Buddy.

Why not go and look at them all? We need the traffic, and you've nothing better to do with the next hour...

Hello again all you E4 fans and FLUGTAG lovers. Well with just over four weeks left until Red Bull Flugtag 2008  it is still full steam ahead. I'm glad to say our mothership, the Rocket cycle is now complete and ready to soar across the lake.

The Rocket

Now we are attempting to build our so called Evel Wings. Which will hopefully give me enough lift to at least clear the lake and beyond.
We still need your help though, the E4 EVEL Team is slipping down the scale in the voting stakes on the Redbull website. So don’t delay check us out and click on the vote for this team and kick them into touch.  www.redbullflugtag.co.uk

We have super treats in store for our fans. Not just visually but our machines have a few hidden ‘effects’ to hopefully wow the 80,000 crowd. Also our pre-jump event will include an amazing death-defying leap... well, maybe not in the slightest death-defying... but we do intend to finish the Job Evel started back in London way back at the old Wembley Stadium, in 1975. We will sort of jump the 13 Buses as Evel attempted, ending unfortunately with him in hospital with a broken Pelvis! Not revealing too much but let's say our attempt is er, ‘Not To Scale’.

We must take this opportunity to personally thank Kelly Knievel and all Evel's Family who allowed us to use Evel's likeness and allowing us to use all his 'cool' stuff. Thanks guys! However, as the day approaches I'm thinking I wish he were here to jump in my place!

Work in Progress

As a treat to all, we have arranged to show the E4 Rocket Skycycle in a ‘River Thames Jumping Pose’ to the world on Sunday 25th May by London's Putney Wharf Tower during The Wandsworth Arts Festival. And I shall be there testing the rocket engine, before they remove it for Flugtag ! So come along and meet me and the gang. Putney Wharf Tower is in located in Brewhouse Lane SW15.

So keep your votes coming, check back in soon and I really hope to see you all either at Putney or hear you screaming at Flugtag.

Until then ‘HAPPY LANDINGS’  from Phil ‘Hollywood’ Hatton (aka EVEL KNIEVEL) And The E4’ EVEL KNIEVEL TEAM.

Vroooom!
