Hooray! Finally, we're able to tell you about a new, great show that's joining the E4 stable early next year. If you haven't already heard, the hit US musical comedy Glee is coming to your favourite purple-tinged telly channel and we're already buzzing about it. There'll be more stuff about the show here soon.
In fact, 'cos we've had so many great chuffin' programmes on E4 already this year (with loads more to come - Cha'Mone Mo' Fo' Selecta tonight, Misfits and School Of Comedy just around the corner), we've thrown a party. Online!
Tonight, a bunch of so-called journalist-type people will be holed up in a secret British bunker so we can seduce their peepholes with forthcoming televisual goodies. And because we love you, we'll be sharing as much as we can with our lovely E4 fans. Pics, videos, comments, things like that.
Where? Zip over to our Facebook event page and you’ll see what we're up to. Plus, keep a keen eye on Twitter, Facebook and the whole of the internet for any mentions of the critical tag: #e4kneesup. Let's go!
Some of you have noticed / told us off for censoring parts of How I Met Your Mother. This is an issue that we have with all our US comedies that play pre-watershed, including Scrubs, My Name Is Earl and even Friends. These shows were originally made to play in a later slot, so have the occasional naughty bit that we simply can't play before 9pm.
Series 1-3 of How I Met Your Mother will continue to premiere at 7.30pm on weeknights, up until December. These shows are usually repeated in a later slot, and we'll try to always show you the unedited version in these instances.
From December, we'll start showing the forth series of How I Met Your Mother, which we'll be playing in a post 9pm slot, unedited.
UPDATE 09/09/09: The Inbetweeners has been nominated for a National Television Award. Help us win by voting on the NTA website. Cheers!
Phew! Ever since award season began we’ve been getting out the polish and trying to make room for all the lovely honours bestowed upon E4 in our humble trophy cabinet.
Unfortunately for our poor old awards cupboard we’re going to have to upgrade to something a bit bigger because the naughty young schoolboys known to all and sundry as The Inbetweeners just keep bringing 'em in!
The latest in a string of plaudits for the show comes from the TV Quick Awards who last night bestowed the honour of Best Comedy Show onto The Inbetweeners’ shoulders.
Full marks, boys and girls!
You’ve probably seen it on your tellybox and now you can surf it on the interweb with the launch of the brand spanking new 4Music website!

4Music.com will feature tons of top content including all the latest music news, 4Music playlists, profiles on top artists and exclusive interviews with even more features to be revealed soon. (E4 recommends checking out 4Music's chat with those lovely lasses from the Sugababes.)
The site launches today so what in the name of e4 are you waiting for? Pop over now and say hello to the internet’s hottest newcomer.
We're in a jolly mood right now after picking up the award for ‘Non Terrestrial Channel of the Year’ at this year’s MediaGuardian Edinburgh International Television Festival.
Michael McIntyre presented our boss, Angela Jain, with the super special award during a glam ceremony on Friday. The other nominees (witnessing our glory from the audience) were BBC Three, Dave, FX and Sky1.

As if that wasn't enough, our very own original comedy, The Inbetweeners, beat off stiff competition from BBC Three’s Being Human and serious cop drama The Wire to claim the prize for 'The Network and Fast Track Programme Award 2009.'
Nominees were decided by an online vote so if you were one of the 2000+ people who gave us a nod, we send our hearty thanks and a spiritual pat on the back.
Now where's that purple bubbly?
