Freshers is more than half-way through. Wow! Time really does fly! We’ve had thrills, spills, belly-aches and more. First of all Rhys came out with the amazing admission that it was him who spiked Josh, then, almost before we’d had time to digest that rather large morsel, the gang were heading off on a festival jaunt.
They didn’t make it into the festival because Darren had sold them blag tickets, but thankfully our new American friend Doug rolled up in his VW to save the day.
Since jetting off to France, they’ve indulged in wine, nudity and love-triangles. In fact, I’m not sure you could actually call it a love-triangle. Jamil likes Charlotte, who likes Viv, along with Doug and Dave. But who does Viv like? All of them? Is that a love-triangle? Maybe I’m just being obtuse.
Meanwhile, Lee and Tex have both had their own affairs of the heart to contend with. While Tex is being blackmailed for sleeping with her sister’s ex Trent, our resident Pepé Le Pew, Lee Hunter, has tried and tested a number of proposal techniques, with predictably hilarious consequences. We’ve seen him mucking out dirty toilets at a festival, dropping his ring down the pan and getting locked out of a hotel room in his undies, only to stumble across a baying mob of hormonal hen-nighters, who demanded he dance for them immediately…
Phew, all that drama! Almost as if they were in a soap-opera here or something!
If you do happen to have had your head buried in a substantial amount of sand over the past few weeks though, don’t worry, you can still catch all the action from the series over at our ‘watch episodes’ page.
What’s more, they’re all living it up on Facebook right now. Lee is looking for help, getting to know Leanne better, Charlotte’s annoyed with Viv, Tex doesn’t know what she’s going to do about Trent blackmailing her, and Jamil’s thinking about making a move on Charlotte. Check out their profiles…
Plus, episode five will be available from 7pm on Thursday 09 Sep. Pencil it in…
