The votes are in, and over 75% of you want Ste to give Brendan another chance! They've stirred passion in the masses; whether you see them as the toxic twosome or the tragic love-tale, they've certainly given us all something to rave about. Let's take a little trip down Ste and Brendan's memory lane...
"It's alright innit? When it's just you and me."

It all started in the cellar of Chez Chez, when bad boss Brendan lured his young barman into a steamy kiss.
A kiss which turned Ste's hero-worship for Brendan into instant infatuation. Alas, Brendan had Ste eating out of the palm of his hand...And things were about to get messy...
"You can see why I lost my temper."
Brendan's determination to keep Ste quiet about their affair had him pulling out all the punches - quite literally. Whether it be to control, to silence, or to deflect Brendan's own self-hate… Ste found himself at the receiving end of his lover's temper, time and time again.
"It's time to pay your little friend a visit."
The arrival of Brendan's nemesis, Danny Houston, made things get seriously complicated. Houston made the biggest mistake of his life when he chose to threaten the safety of 'Steven'. In a blind panic and rage, Brendan seized the nearest object - a hammer - and used it to ensure Houston would never see his threat through to the end. An act of true love, or a display of untempered rage?
"I love you, Steven. That's what I didn't tell you."
It was in August 2011 that Brendan finally said those three words that hold such impact. While Ste was still hesitant about giving his former-flame another chance, it seemed he couldn't resist another go at making their relationship work… and it FINALLY looked like the two could be the out-and-proud couple Ste dreamed of them being.
Cue Eileen, Brendan's ex-wife. Brendan was back in his closet faster than he could get his trousers on. It was the final nail in the coffin for the pair, as Ste took off to Disneyland without him and returned decidedly more strong and independent. His Brendan days were OVER.
"He's just too proud to ask for help. But he needs it. From someone."

Despite Ste's apparent resolve to stay away from Brendan, that little burning flame has always caused him to rush to Brendan's side in his hours of need.
And now, with Brendan at his most vulnerable, it seems the feelings that Ste once managed to suppress have come bubbling back to the surface again. Just as he's about to get married to Doug. Meeeep.
What will the outcome be for Ste? Will he give Brendan another chance? Have your say by commenting below.
