Each week on the show will be an unsigned act and each unsigned dude or dudess will be championed by a Hollyoaks cast member (in a way that can only be comparable to how the Cheeky Girls mum used to drag around her most lovely daughters). Record Breaker host and tap-dancer extraordinaire, Roy Castle (R.I.P) once said, “dedication is what you need,” and, by gosh, Hollie-Jay’s got it in the bucket load. In fact, Hollie-Jay, who infamously once sang in character for the Hollyoaks band The Dirty Diegos, is so dedicated to mentoring her punky trio of vagabonds that she’s headed down to Essex to record vocals with them this weekend! Astonishing stuff!
