Sheree Murphy, best known for her role as Tricia Dingle in Emmerdale, has joined the cast of Hollyoaks.

The gorgeous actress is set to arrive on screen in April playing a mystery brunette called Kate. Kate immediately catches Ravi's eye, but, while Ravi can’t believe his luck that he’s managed to capture the attention of such a hottie, Kate is after the attentions of his younger sister, Anita.
Kate, whose real name turns out to Eva, transpires to be Anita’s biological mother! What a shocker!
Sheree, who won the 2004 British Soap Award for Best Exit, said on joining the cast:
“Being a fan of the show, I’m really excited to be a part of Hollyoaks and working with the young cast, especially Saira (Anita). Her character has been through some really tough times lately so it will be interesting to see how she responds to the arrival of my character Eva, her biological mother.”
