Have we got a contest for you?! This one's a two horse (man) race. Gaz v Bart. Motor v scooter. The prize? The love of Sinead of course. Start those engines!
Until now Bart has been in pole position, but can Gaz overtake him? Follow our lap-by-lap race report for all the action:
Lap 1:
Green light - and they're off!
Gaz makes a very strong start to the race - skillfully manoeuvring his way into the heart of the O’Connor home, "charming the pants off" Diane- she likes the cut of his "jib" apparently. Sinead is understandably overjoyed at the prospect of having a boyfriend her Mum doesn't hate and decides to "go for it". They're both raring to go. While Gaz is enjoying Diane's home-made lasagne, Bart is left eating dust...
Lap 2
Oh dear, Bart's poor start continues - he's forced further off-track after accidentally spilling lemonade down Sinead's new top. Error! He tries to make up lost ground, but his tactics are misjudged - Sinead ends up in tears after Bart shouts at her in the middle common room. Clearly not the best way to get her on side. Has he blown his chances of victory? The finishing line looks a long way off...
Lap 3
Bart finds a second wind after hearing of Sinead and Gaz's hanky panky. This could be the motivation he needed to spur him on. For now, he resorts to dirty tactics - planting knock-off watches in Gaz's car. Sneaky! Bart's diversion works as Gaz stopped in his tracks by the police. Disqualification looks likely for the lad - will a brush with the law make Sinead rethink her options? For the first time Bart is now IN THE LEAD...this is getting interesting...
This contest ain't over yet though folks - there's still two laps to go in this nailbiting showdown. Will Gaz get back on track? Will manipulative Maddie throw a spanner in the works? Most importantly: who will win? All we know is, it's gonna be a dramatic race to the finish...
