It’s that time of year again. All over the country, finger-nails are being chewed to oblivion by nervous soap-stars hoping to bag a few accolades at this year’s National Television Awards…
Even the beautifully manicured nails of our very own glamorous cast of stars haven’t escaped a good gnawing. That’s because we’ve got loads of nominations for different awards.
Who do you think deserves to take home the glory though? Emmett J Scanlan has been nominated for best newcomer, owing to his sometimes terrifying portrayal of Brendan Brady. For the category of Best Serial Drama Performance, categories include:
Jorgie Porter (Theresa McQueen)
Claire Cooper (Jacqui McQueen)
Bronagh Waugh (Cheryl Brady)
Andrew Moss (Rhys Ashworth)
Anthony Quinlan (Gilly Roach)
Kieron Richardson (Ste Hay)
Should Jorgie take the glory for her moving portrayal of a woman wronged? Or what about Anthony Quinlan, for his touching performance as a man dealing with the fact that the woman he loves has cancer?
How can we decide? All we know is that they’re all fab! We want your thoughts though. Let us know in the comments boxes below…
