It’d be unfair of us to say one character, or should I say one actor, is more popular than any other here at Hollyoaks, but… oh sod it… one particular fan favourite seems to be Nico Mirallegro (Newt)! The guy has legions of adoring fans! If you’re one of them you might like to know he’s about to star in a short film – Six Minutes of Freedom. Watch a trailer for it here. So from a now classic Hollyoaks cast member to a new Hollyoaks cast member… This week we announced ex-Emmerdale actress Sheree Murphy is set to star in Hollyoaks from April. We’ve got our hands on exclusive behind the scenes pictures of Sheree in Relish. Take a look!

Also new to Hollyoaks, or rather the Hollyoaks website, is the Holly’s disappearance. On Wednesday, the Hollyoaks Hot Topic centred round Dancing On Ice questions for Kieron Richardson (Ste). Well, the boy wonder answered your questions - read his responses here.

Sheree Murphy, best known for her role as Tricia Dingle in Emmerdale, has joined the cast of Hollyoaks.

The gorgeous actress is set to arrive on screen in April playing a mystery brunette called Kate. Kate immediately catches Ravi's eye, but, while Ravi can’t believe his luck that he’s managed to capture the attention of such a hottie, Kate is after the attentions of his younger sister, Anita.

Kate, whose real name turns out to Eva, transpires to be Anita’s biological mother! What a shocker!

Sheree, who won the 2004 British Soap Award for Best Exit, said on joining the cast:

“Being a fan of the show, I’m really excited to be a part of Hollyoaks and working with the young cast, especially Saira (Anita).  Her character has been through some really tough times lately so it will be interesting to see how she responds to the arrival of my character Eva, her biological mother.”

Happy Monday! To kick off the week we can reveal that number one selling hip-hop kiddo Chipmunk is going to be in Hollyoaks. The episode will be aired on March 26^th, but we’ve got a sneak preview of his appearance on the soap in this gallery.

Kieron Richardson (Ste) was in seventh heaven last night as he skated with ease from week seven of Dancing On Ice into week eight to become one of the last seven competitors left in the show. Guest judge Angela Rippon said Kieron’s level of performance in the competition has been “outstanding”.

Indeed, the routine was excellent, but last night we were more concerned with Kieron and Brianne’s sexed up outfits and ludicrously amazing haircuts. In the words of Melissa Walton (Loretta), “Jedward hair”!

This week we’re starting a new feature called ‘Hot Topics’. Each Monday, Wednesday and Friday we’ll be asking for your opinions on storylines, characters or cast members. We want to hear YOUR voice! Pop on over here and give your say on the latest HOT TOPIC!

Last week the brotherly love between Rhys and Josh turned into brotherly hate. Thinking Rhys was trying it on with his would-be girlfriend, India, Josh threw a punch at Rhys.

The next day Rhys spiked Josh’s soft drinks with booze. Unaware of his drunken state, Josh gave a lift to the students, but soon ended up in a car crash which left India in hospital.

Having failed a breathalyzer test, all of Josh’s friends and now even his family seem to think Josh is to blame for the accident and all the while Rhys hasn’t said a word.

What should Rhys do? Should he ‘fess up to Josh? Should he tell the police? Or should he keep quiet and hope that it all blows over? Let us know what you think in the comments box below…

You may have noticed Calvin Valentine’s been nominated for a couple of awards, well, I can’t help but wonder what Calvin would think of his ex-wife Carmel appearing in Nuts magazine? Well, ok, so Carmel hasn’t appeared in Nuts, but the lovely lass who plays her has! Yep, Gemma Merna gets down to her bra and pants in the latest Nuts mag and we've got our pervy hands on the hot pictures. Check them out!

In late August, we asked the musically talented, yet criminally unsigned lot amongst you to upload a track. From the hundreds of top quality entries we received, our esteemed panel of judges picked their nine favourites.

These nine acts appeared throughout The Hollyoaks Music Show with Matalan.co.uk series and were championed by mentors. Their mentors weren't any old average Joes though! No, their mentors were Hollyoaks cast members!

After the Hollyfolks went about their mentoring ways, we asked you to vote for your favourite unsigned act - the winner of the vote would get to appear in an actual bonfide episode of Hollyoaks! Outstanding stuff, no?

Anyways, the winners of the competition were Southend-on Sea's finest punk trio, Redtrack. As mentored by Hollie-Jay Bowes (Michaela McQueen), Redtrack wowed TV viewers nationwide and will now feature in an episode of Hollyoaks. That episode is tonight! So tune in and see them rock The Loft on Channel 4 at 6.30pm.

Kieron Richardson (Ste Hollyoaks) managed to avoid a Valentine’s Day massacre last night, as he skated into the last eight of Dancing On Ice. Continuing his good form, Kieron avoided the “dreaded skate-off” and was deemed by the judges to be one of the top four dancers on the night.

Judge Nicky Slater also said something about Kieron and “ultimate three turns” and having a “change of edge on the chop turn”. To be honest, we had no idea if these were good things until Nicky added, “I was impressed”. Phew!

If we’re not getting asked about Kieron, then normally you guys ask us things about Hannah (“Where’s Hannah’s scarf from?”, “How many times a day does she go to the toilet?” When was the last time she fell over?”). Thankfully for us, Hannah’s departed Hollyoaks village, so we’re crossing our fingers that such requests stop because we just don’t know the answers!

Not loved up this forthcoming Valentine’s Day? It doesn’t matter! We’ll give you all the love you’ll ever need! Of course, when we say love what we actually mean is Hollyoaks goodies. Good grief, we’ve got so much love/Hollyoaks goodies to give you our hearts are nearly bursting!

First up, we’ve got a new backstage video! In fact, we’ve got TWO new backstage videos! They’re not any old amazing backstage videos though, oh no! This one’s presented by the gorgeous, the wonderful, the always hyperactive, Jorgie Porter (Theresa McQueen) and, get this, it has a Valentine’s theme (you’ll notice a pattern emerging here)! In the Valentine’s backstage, Jorgie potters her way around Hollyoaks village to find out which cast members would snog in The Loft, propose in Il Gnosh and dump in The Dog and with whom. In no way does it resemble ‘Snog, Marry, Avoid’…

We’ve also got a new Valentine’s Day picture gallery for you. The gallery features the most affectionate couple in Hollyoaks history. Carmel and Calvin? Craig and John Paul? No. Lauren and Gaz, of course! There’s a sample picture of the loving couple above.

Remember to watch Kieron Richardson (Ste) perform in week 6 of Dancing On Ice this Sunday, ITV1, 6.50pm. Now, I know what you’re thinking, how is that Valentine’s related? Unpeel those peepers and you’ll be able to watch Kevin Sacre, who plays the sometime Hollyoaks crazy man Jake Dean, in a brand new BBC3 gameshow, Dancing On Wheels.

Uniting wheelchair users and celebrities, Kev Sacre and his dance partner Simone will be trained in the art of wheelchair ballroom dancing before competing against other couples. The winning duo will then represent the UK in an International Wheelchair Dancing Competition in Tel Aviv. Will Kev conquer? Find out from Thursday, 9pm, BBC3.

Meanwhile, in Hollyoaks village, things are set to get a bit explosive! And when we say explosive we mean KA-BOOM-BASTIC! The Hollyoaks brat pack (Josh, India, Rhys, Dave, Sasha) are involved in a bit of an accident. For some fiery photos of the incident click here!

Kieron Richardson shimmied his way into week 6 of Dancing On Ice yesterday evening, as the wee chap who plays bad-ass Ste survived the dreaded ‘skate-off’. Despite gaining the judges backing, who believed last night’s performance was “much, much better”, Kieron found himself fighting it out for DOI survival with Heather Mills. In the end Kieron’s perseverance paid dividends and now Kieron has got in the last nine of the competition. Well done, Kiersy!

Last Friday, good old (not that old) Kev Sacre, who plays Hollyoaks’ Jake, took to the streets of Hertfordshire. Unlike most televisual celebrities on a Friday night, Kevin wasn’t out on a boozy rampage, oh no! Kevin was doing his thing for charity - that’s the type of nice guy he is!

Teaming up with his soon to be missus, Camilla Dallerup (who you might know from ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ and ‘I’m A Celebrity…’), Kevin braved the freezing temperatures and slept in a cardboard box to highlight the problem of homelessness and to raise funds for the work of YMCA Central Herts. Meanwhile, in Hollyoaks village, it’s been an interesting week for Hannah Ashworth. Jamie, her old beau from Hollyoaks Later, has come back in her life and is set to turn it upside. Judging by what you guys have been saying in the comments box on our homepage, you generally think Jamie’s return is a good thing simply because he’s “gawjus”. To celebrate Jamie’s return to Hannah’s life, we’ve made a quiz all about the men that have been smitten by wee Hannah’s ways. We’ve called it Hannah-Maniacs. Give it a go!

Woo-hoo! Last night Kieron Richardson (utterly evil Ste) skated his way into the final ten of Dancing On Ice. Kieron, performing to ‘Play That Funky Music’, managed to avoid the dreaded skate-off once again. However, it wasn’t all plain sailing – Kieron’s close DOI buddy Tana Ramsay (wife of Gordon) was knocked out. Boo hiss.

From one reality TV show to another… On Friday the man with the most ridiculous nickname ever won Celebrity Big Brother 2010. Yep, Alex “The Reidernator” Reid took the title, but did you know that The Reidernator used to be Hollyoaks? Yep, in 2001 he played a footballer called Jason Cunliffe. He was a bit of a bad boy and was married to buxom babe Geri Hudson (played by real life WAG Joanna Taylor).

To celebrate Alex’s unlikely CBB victory, we’ve made a Reidernator gallery of his time in Hollyoaks. You should check it out. It features half-naked men and a lot of cleavage. Perfect Monday viewing material!!
