Company Pictures (Skins creators) have been inundated with your photos. It seems there are quite a few of you who would like to become extras on Skins. We obviously don't blame you.
Company want you to know they are still ploughing through the photos you sent and will be picking their Extras very soon. The only way you had a chance to become an Extra was through e4.com/skins, and we can assure you as soon as they make their choices you'll be the first to know.
And just because they're no longer looking doesn't mean they won't be looking again soon. But that's all we can say right now.

You may have noticed the trailers on your telly box and web box: Skins contingency, we need you.
We're recruiting for extras and music for Skins. Very soon we're going to be recruiting for actors, directing talent, writing talent and more...
We're sworn to secrecy at the moment (even though we're dying to share) but we can assure you it's worth the wait, and we'll be revealing more in the next month.
UPDATE: The actor competition is now go! You could win a speaking role in Skins series 3...
UPDATE 2: Yes we will be looking for stylists and other talent on set (in response to caryseen's comment). But we REALLY can't say any more. We've already said way too much. Keep on the lookout for announcements.
