It’s the end of DST! I cannot believe it’s really over! And, despite all the drama and the tantrums, the love (and the hate) affairs, finally on the last day everyone managed to pull it all together for one last great shot! Even the shoot itself was surprisingly uneventful - I think all the models were on best behaviour lest they miss out on their one last chance to shine.

On the day of the exhibition however there were a few close calls and Jesse seemed especially down for a while after realising that he hadn’t made it into a solo selection. He soon drowned his sorrows in champagne and was much more cheerful after Perou pulled him aside to give him a selection images that he had had printed especially. Ariella was left red faced after asking for a selection of her ‘best’ images and finding out that there were none…

I met BB’s mother on the night and the question of where BB got his ridiculous cheek bones from became spectacularly obvious. The lady didn’t look old enough to be drinking a six-pack let alone having a son with one! I took a snap of all the models, who looked outstanding on the night to commemorate the occasion (see above), and then got on to the task at hand: the race to drink as much free champagne as possible before kicking out time!

The trifecta was completed by Perou’s assistants of the past, present and future (from left to right below: 2nd assistant Maria, ex-assistant Melinda and me).
