This concept is one of deep-rooted simplicity: humans have been indulging in spot the difference since the dawn of time (this isn't necessarily true but the sentiment is strong). You would be forgiven for thinking that to create a new difference spotter with any fresh appeal would be tough, even for a developer with Case's colourful pedigree.

This is a success. Case takes eerily beautiful images (think 10 Gnomes) from an empty advertising hoarding to a lost highway and into the realms of swirling obscurity. And combines them with simple little animations within the image. Case then tops it off with some soothing music to make Mogwai blush. Find six differences, and enjoy doing it: it's not easy, but it is fun.
