Review

Sniper games are definitely 'de rigeur' at the moment... which is French for 'hot stuff'. We had Tactical Assassin 2 and now we've got the massively exciting, and, dare we say it, better than TA2, Arsenal to contend with. And contend we must as the scope of Arsenal (pun intended) is wider than most all of what's gone before.

Thankfully, it isn't a game for Premiership ne'er do wells from the goon side of the tracks, but a game for precision finishers and target-men the likes of which Arsenal FC did away with long ago. You have a variety of variously awkward and interesting targets to dispatch of, and you even get gory cut scenes showing just how much of your victim's brains you carve out with your bullets.

Controls

Use the mouse to aim and fire. Press X to 'hide' so as not to have your rifle seen, and to get a view of the whole vista for yourself. Press V for night vision which should give you a different insight into your surroundings. R is for reload and Z allows you to zoom in, in later missions.
