There are several enormous cannons in this game, but it isn't about angle, or power like your usual, run of the mill cannon based games. It's all about timing. Here, that second between success and failure counts for everything, like hunting and running for a train. It's a fine old game though, you have to get the little chap from cannon to cannon, to jetpack, to cannon, over wasp, to cannon and into the sun.
Lindsey Laplante has tapped a rich vein of obscurity here. The idea that you have to get through the sky and into the sun via a system of cannons is not the most obvious idea in the world, but it does eventually feel logical and as such makes for a good game. Launching the little guy across the sky and into the sun is actually quite satisfying - it feels strangely right!
