Review

You're Big Bad Al, hoping to meet your online date Sheena Gothskull at 'Club Nightclub' in this cautionary, yet light-hearted tale about why you shouldn't give out personal information on the internet.

In fact, it's almost as if this was designed to address our moans about the enormous - but often irritating - point-and-click puzzler The Mystery of Time and Space - Curiously Strong comes with neat puzzles that, in Ellie's words, "take a bit of clue hunting" - but not too much, and the solution always seems easy "once you've got it".

Plus, the conversations with other characters are way more entertaining than in most games of this type, thanks to the snappy dialogue and mildly "for slightly older players" humour.

Controls

Point and click to move, pick things up, talk to people etc (click mouse button to make dialogue appear more quickly).

Tips

There are a lot of clues - and a couple of red herrings - in the conversations you have with people; the other thing to always bear in mind is that the game aims to advertise those "dissolve in your mouth" Altoids strips (available in mint and cinnamon flavour, apparently).
