Dinky Bomb

Cute multiplayer online strategy shooter. For some reason, most browser-based games aren't too good at letting you play other people across the net - something to do with ports and firewalls - but this one seems to work everywhere we've tried it.

After challenging an opponent in the lobby (yup, no 1-player practice mode), your 3 little characters appear on one side of the selected level, and your enemy's on the other. Then you take turns with guns, bouncing bombs and Molotov cocktails to try and blow them all to dinky heaven. It's nowt too fancy but gorgeously designed and nothing's more fun than blowing up your friends.

Left and right arrows to move left and right, up and down to choose angle, control to fire.

You can play the Dinky Bomb Lite version without having to sign up for anything - "Log in as guest" the first time you click on "Play now". But it's sometimes worth arranging to meet a friend in the lobby in case no-one else is around.
