There's no arguing with the real sense of control you have over the puck and your 3 players (and the authentic skating sound effects - though is it really necessary for the crowd to make quite so much noise when you actually score a goal?) Part of a collection of games that also features "Air Hockey" and "Slap Shot Shootout", this one doesn't even feature the off-the-puck violence you used to get in game console versions - or as the film "Swingers" put it: "In this one, you can make their heads bleed".

Controls

Arrow keys to move selected player, Q Shoot or Check, W Pass or Steal, E Speed Burst, Space select different player.

Tips

W automatically passes the puck to one of your other players, so practice using just that (and Q to shoot when you're near the goal) to start off with.
