Machinarium

Amanita design created Samorost and its sequel. Between them they set the benchmark for browser based point and click adventures online. They were fantastical, collages of animation and borrowed textures and played beautifully as well.

Years later, and with a couple of little projects behind them, they bring Machinarium to the table. You are a little robot, cast aside in a robot graveyard from where you have to penetrate the Machinarium. Only a demo of the first few screens is free but it's a hell of a taster.

Point and click as per usual, but you can also click, hold and drag to elongate or shrink your robot.

Just soak in the joy, and then see if you don't part with your cash for the full game!
