Magic Pen

Looks simplistic and childish, but underneath beats the heart of a fiendish puzzle game, where physics is key

Review

Magic Pen is one of those physics engine games where you have to move an object from one point to another. It may sound simplistic, it may look simplistic, but it's actually quite a difficult puzzle game; especially when the object that needs to be moved changes from a circle to a square (and squares, unfortunately, don't roll).

Of course, to help you in this, there is also the option of using pins and hinges which make it easier to knock the object around the puzzle. All in all there are 26 levels, increasingly difficult levels to work through, and although we didn't manage to get past level 12, you could end up spending quite a while trying to complete these increasingly frustrating courses.

Controls

A Erases a drawing. S creates a pin. D creates a hinge.

Tips

With the aid of the hinges and pins, you can create lifting mechanisms, which will save a lot of time, and stop you getting angry at your monitor.
