Monster Invasion

Very addictive little game that's easy to learn. Just click on the traps when the Monster Vikings are over or under them. It's a similar concept to all those Defend Your Castle siege simulators, but with a similar control system to Les Nuits de Monsieur Snoozleberg.

The variety of traps - from spring-loaded platforms to some sort of boiling oil - make it more entertaining than, for instance, Flip Flap - though, for some reason (possibly the animated intro?) this one takes a bit longer to load. And we'd have given it one or two more points if it had any more interesting levels (or different sound effects) - and was a bit quicker to restart a new game when just one of the Viking monsters gets through.

Click on trap to activate it.

If there aren't too many more monsters on their way, see how late you can click on a trap to catch a passing Viking - you may be pleasantly surprised by their range.
