Review

Aaarr me hearties! Tis an old favourite hobby of ours here at E4 games mountain hideaway to be blasting opposition worms from here to kingdom come. So, 'tis with a great-hearty-glug-o-rum that we celebrate the arrival of Mutiny from the recently booming Nitrome canon.

If you hadn't guessed this game is for all intents and purposes Worms with pirates. There are some nice touches and tweaks to keep it apart from the classic: instead of pick the angle and power with click and hold, you have to click and drag like in some golf games. The same process is used for moving, or flinging, the pirates. As usual it looks great and there are a few surprises along the way too so we'll keep quiet.

Controls

First pick which of your pirates you want to control. Next choose whether to move them or not (you are still entitled to an attack once you have moved). If so then click on the pirate and drag the mouse away from the direction in which you wish to fling him, a sight line will appear and help you to see where you are flinging him. Finally gentlemen, choose your weapons... this works in exactly the same way as moving your pirate, just with differing results - we'll let you discover those for yourselves.

Tips

Falling into the water is instant death (like Worms, remember?) and so it's good practice to keep your guys away from it, and look to get the opposition into it!
