Ninja Golf

This is a beautifully nostalgic flash rendering of the oft forgotten genre-defining CLASSIC Ninja Golf for the Atari 7800. The plot is the same as the original - your training is nearing an end, but you still have one ultimate challenge to overcome - the greatest challenge any ninja has ever come up against: Ninja Golf. The graphics have been given a cartoon touch to bring them up to date and into the browser.

It really is a brilliant concept. One of the very best. The reality sees you playing a golf shot, then walking on after the ball and battling beasties along the way. A bunker heralds sand pythons, a water feature: piranhas, while the 'normal' enemies are gophers, frogs, ninjas and fire-breathing dragons. Get killing... and swinging.

For the golf: use the left and right arrows to aim the shot, and the space bar to swing when the time is right. For the 'bit in between' use the left and right arrows to move, the space bar to jump and 'a' to kick, and 's' to throw shuriken stars.

Be careful of them darn gophers - they'll get ya.
