Peasant's Quest

It might not be slick and have a touch of the retro about it, but this pixle-tastic, text puzzler is addictive and fun

Review

A sequel (of sorts) to the enthusiastic "burninating" last seen in Trogdor, where you're one of the crudely-animated peasants vowing revenge on the dragon that terrorises the land.

Sure, the retro-style graphics aren't much better this time, but there's also a traditional text adventure element where you enter commands at the bottom of the screen. The puzzles are tough (but not impossible) and the jokes are amusing.

Controls

Arrow keys to move (press + or - a few times to speed up or slow down), keyboard to type commands, Return to enter command or to skip dialogue on screen.

Tips

It's worth trying TALK or LOOK by themselves when you arrive somewhere to work out what the graphics are supposed to be, then using the SAVE option when you're getting anywhere in case you're killed unexpectedly.
