Yes, this does have a weird loading system (and probably only works on PCs) but it still deserves full marks because a) it looks great, b) it plays brilliantly, and c) the sound isn't bad either.

It's an old-fashioned side-scrolling shoot-'em-up (that can be played by one or two people - at the same time!) where everything is made from Wallace and Gromit-style Claymation, from the gorgeous backgrounds to the wide wide variety of alien spacecraft and spectacular explosions. Plus, the level of difficulty is as beautifully designed as the graphics are - you only get a limited number of games on the free version, but if you can't get through all 5 levels in that space of time, what kind of gamer are you?

Controls

Mouse (or arrow keys) to move (the mouse seems slightly more responsive), Mouse button or Space to fire (hold down for continuous barrage).

Tips

It's worth picking up the fruit because you get bonus spaceships at 5000 points, then every 10000 points after that; Powerups usually appear after you shoot all the orange saucers - the green one is particularly effective against the yellow egg things.
