Pongling

A cross between Pong and bowling (geddit?), this is a 'proper' arcade game that will give you hours of eye-drying, slack-jawed play. Direct the ball into one of 10 'lanes' by moving another bigger, rotating ball across the bottom of the screen.

You only get two shots at each lane before it's blocked off, and to get a spare or strike you'll need to really put a spin on the ball - try and aim directly upwards and annoyingly you'll be left with two pins in the corners that are impossible to hit.
