Scope: First Blood

Take on the role of a contract killer: viewing the world through your scope with only a pair of crosshairs to guide you. You receive your deadly instructions (the instructions are deadly themselves... I'm trying to build tension here!) and then it is between you and your prey: blissfully unaware of their impending doom! It takes a second to pull the trigger, end a life and pick up the cheque, but miss and you will go home a failure (and then play the level again).

It's very similar to Tactical Assassin, it even references the aforementioned as its sole influence. It has a nicer sense of humour to it, the crowning glory seeing you asked to shoot some poor chap's member during an alpine release. It is a bit easier than TA (the game not the Territorial Army) but has enough levels to keep you interested and the promise of more to follow, ace!

Use the mouse both to aim and fire, but leave a few seconds between bullets while our man reloads and resettles.

For the most part it's straight-forward killing of the obvious designated target, but sometimes a little lateral thinking is required - especially if you want to successfully beat all the achievements. Shooting bottles could help your cause... nudge nudge, wink wink.
