Skywire 2

At the beginning of each level, three little people jump into your cable-car. They could be male, female, cowboy, Hassidic Jew or even Viking all thanks to some mint, minimal pixel work. You have to transport these three folks to their destination at the end of the Skywire. The setting is the same as the first game, and many of the obstacles make a welcome return (particularly the majestic whale).

There is a more polished finish to this one though - as you'd expect of a gaming sequel, but don't always get - with a few nice new features. There are some sections of track that shake when you roll on to them before falling. The music becomes muffled when you travel underwater and you are given an oxygen-ometer to check that you get your passengers to the surface in time. This is such a beautiful and top-joy game to play: just how we like 'em.
