Stoneage Sam is a point 'n' click that relies on the order of the actions, much like the excellent Bowja The Ninja games. You must locate hot spots (areas where the cursor becomes a hand for you to click with) and then click on them at the right time, and in the right order. Unlike many P 'n' Cs you CAN die, so take care of yourself.

At first you must protect your family from the elements as you attempt to flee the elements. But then comes a yeti, hell-bent on your demise. Evade him and you're captured by tribesmen only to be thrown into a primeval Olympics, which you must win to proceed. Then guess who's back - old 'all over body hair' himself: Yeti. It's a hard knock life.

Controls

Use the mouse to locate and click on the hotspots.

Tips

Sometimes you are given little helping hands - in the form of big white arrows, pointing at the exact place you need to click, at the exact time you need to click it. You'd be a fool to ignore them.

@bully1 - you quickly click on the log to the left of where you're standing and use it to snowboard after your family by clicking near the bottom of the screen.

OK I need help - having been captured I can escape the mammoth pit but cannot get past the two guards (or find anywhere else to go) - they kill me every time

Help! How do you get Sam past the Yeti once his family have gone off in the sled. And Langman - if you are still stuck, you have to click just in front of the family first to move them down the snow and then move on to the non-snowy bits.

You go back to your family then walk down the slope together to the right side, via the non-snowy bits. Then you cross the crevace to the other side (off to the right)
