There's lots of gumpf at the beginning of this games about warlords and defending checkpoints and marauding warriors and so forth. But really it's all about the slashing.

There's two separate modes. A survival level, where you just battle against rampaging foes and slash at them wildly with your drawn sword. Then there's the more involved game where you're trying to stall the enemy while re-enforcements are on their way. The battles with fellow sword-handlers get more tricky as more foes appear.

Controls

Draw line with mouse to slash. Space to pause.

Tips

The tutorial at the beginning is very handy.
