On the plus side: you can pick teams from several different recent internationals (the different strengths assigned to each team might be more controversial), and adjust the graphics and sound quality so that the 3D(-ish) graphics still work on slower machines. As with all football games, the controls take a bit of getting used to, but once you've figured out that you can hold down X to increase the strength of your shot, you should be able to boot the ball halfway up the field.
