Ten Pin Bowling

It's a bit surprising that we haven't had more ten-pin bowling games in the chart before (apart from the Breakout-hybrid Pongling) - but the authors of X-Treme Ping-Pong have pulled out all the stops to give you amazing control of the ball - either by yourself or against another human being.

The only thing that's really missing would be the option to play more of a 'computer' player, as offered by this alternative version (sent in by David Webster) - but somehow the throwing action in the Skyworks one is just much more satisfying.

Move mouse left or right to choose throwing position, hold down mouse button and move mouse forward (to select strength and direction), release mouse button to throw. Then move mouse to left or right to control spin when the ball is on its way.

A slightly spinning shot just to one side of the centre pin is a good way to knock them all over - and the harder you throw, the more the skittles seem to knock down other ones.
