You Have to Burn the Rope

Perhaps the clue to this tricky little platformer is in the title? Or maybe that's another trick to baffle you further

Student game developer Kian claims 'Computer games are getting so hard these days,' and he's right. With this pretty little platformer he's trying to redress the balance. You begin the game in a Mario-esque tunnel, controlling a chucky-egg-with-a-bowler-hat character with the ability to throw axes (an ability which is rapidly revealed to be completely useless).

As if the game itself isn't simple enough Kian has seen fit to provide some 'clues,' try and see if you can spot them. Before you know it you are at the final boss - the grinning colossus - and provided you can read you should be able to work out what to do... it has something to do with rope and fire, hang on what's the game called again?

Controls

Use the left and right arrow keys to move, the up arrow to jump and the down arrow to throw axes.

Tips

Just burn the darn rope! (you might be rewarded with a demon-slapper-style song).
