E4 Grand Master Flash 2009

E4's Grand Master Flash Rules

UPDATE: The Competition is now closed. This page is left for reference purposes only

Calling all game gurus, web monkeys and tech titans! For the second year running, we’re on the hunt for brand new and brilliant Flash games… and there’s a huge reward for the winning entry.

Step 1: Read the rules

You're already doing it now, so that's a good start, but please follow them to the letter 'cos if you make a mistake we may have to disqualify your entry. If you have a question, take a peek at the FAQs.

Step 2: Make a game

Build an amazing game (or dig out and dust down one that you have built in the last year), according to our spec. Your game must:

Step 3: Upload your game

Submit your game using the form. If you want to submit different games, we'd be delighted to see them, but each entry must be uploaded as a separate entry. Don't send the same game in forty times, as that won't improve your chances and it will probably just annoy our email elves.

Step 4: Don't be late

Get your entry in before the deadline: that's at 10am precisely on Monday 17 August 2009. Soon after, our judging panel will convene to sift through all the entries and pick their favourites. Then, the public only go and blimmin' vote for them. And someone is crowned Grand Master Flash 2009. No, really, it's that simple!

Using an open source library is fine, as long as you adhere to the terms of the copyright holder's licence.
