Calvin Valentine (played by Ricky Whittle)

Formely the upstanding village PC, Calvin was sacked from the force after his attempts to uncover the dealings of gangster Warren Fox ended in shambles. Calvin then slid down a slippery slope of lies and deceit, resulting in the breakdown of his marriage to Carmel McQueen and Calvin becoming one of the most hated men in the village...

Calvin was determined to get his life back on track though, and re-married Carmel. Their wedding day ended in disaster, however, when Theresa McQueen (who is pregnant with his child) shot Calvin dead!

Law graduate Ricky Whittle followed in Jamie Lomas' footsteps by making the move from Sky One's dream team to HOLLYOAKS.

    omg clavin is dead i love him 2 picicing i want carmel 2 forgive them both becuase calvin got threasa prengant and on modays chanel threasa was gonnna die but i think calvin help her not gonna die

    ricky was the reason i watched hollyoaks <3 however now he has gone out of it i still cant resist watching what will happen to theresa.. i think carmel should just forgive her :) dont be too harsh even though she did kill the hottest guy in it :(
