George may be the social butterfly of College (no male or female can beat his knowledge of the latest Louboutin) but he's had his fair share of hardship in life...

George used to be homeless, living in a squat with Phoebe, surviving by eating the out-of-date food he found in bins. George's ordeal didn't end there either. Evil Deena and Graham attempted to exploit the youngsters, and in a terrifying succession of events George only just escaped.

Eventually George revealed how he had come to live on the streets: he had been so badly bullied that he'd felt he had no other choice but to run away. What's more, George wasn't even his real name: his real name was Andrew Palmer!

George was in for a few shocks of his own though. He'd never forgiven his parents for not trying to find him, but what he didn't know was that they mistakenly thought he had killed himself and had been consumed with guilt and grief ever since. Thankfully, Callum and Maddie convinced George to face his fears and visit his parents. A happy ending at last!

Now George has found his place living with the Kanes, a rock of support for Callum during Martha's alcoholism. Things were on the up for this dapper fashionista, until he lost his friends Maddie, Neil and Jono in the horrific mini-bus crash. What’s more, George had only just swapped seats with Neil due to a bout of travel sickness. Spooooooky.
