Just when it seemed that laddish Malachy had found a match in Mercedes McQueen, disaster struck in the form of a positive HIV test and his father's tragic death. Mercedes was utterly distraught that Malachy put her in danger of contracting HIV, but the pair resolved their differences and got married in Ireland. The loved-up couple have now returned to Hollyoaks and are attempting to come up with ideas to make big money while dealing with Malachy's HIV status.

Glen has had various TV roles prior to his stint on HOLLYOAKS, including BBC 1's Casualty and ITV's Wire in the Blood.
