Rhys Ashworth (played by Andrew Moss)
Rhys is the eldest son and now only remaining member of the Ashworth family still to live in the village. Historically, he's had a reputation as a bit of a village sleaze ball and womaniser, but since hooking up with Jacqui he's a one-woman man.
Rhys was knocked for six when fiancé Jacqui accused his best mate Gilly of raping her recently! After a lot of to-ing and fro-ing, Rhys took Jacqui's side in court. They married soon after the court case, but the honeymoon period has been by no means an easy one as they both live with the consequences of Jacqui's ordeal...can they get through it together?
Having trained at drama school in Manchester, Andrew previously appeared in Cutting It and Coronation Street.
