Spencer is Warren Fox's foster brother, who arrived unexpectedly just before Louise and Warren's wedding. Warren is protective of Spencer, who has learning difficulties and a mental age of ten.

Darren has featured in various television commercials, and theatre productions, prior to his role on Hollyoaks.

    :( always got me in tears when he listened to Johnny Kash when he was sad. Brilliant character and Hollyoaks should make more characters like him. I'd like him to return and maybe with some one because he's a proper gentleman I think so anyway.

    I can relate to this character; I've just watched Hollyoaks where he's being interviewed by the police and that woman was so patronising towards Spencer and that's how some people are to those with learning difficulties Like me...I have autism.
