Generous, charitable, pious, more chiselled than a Greek alabaster statue...Father Frannie is the perfect man. If only he didn't love God much more than he could ever love any woman!
Carmel thought that she really had come across some kind of Heavenly apparition when our Frannie turned up in town, fresh from volunteering in Africa. Alas, it seems that it isn’t to be! Father Francis' vow of chastity means that, no matter how many pink leotards Carmel parades around in, they simply cannot be together. As temptation is thrown their way though, will Carmel or the father be swayed to take a bite of that forbidden fruit...?
Sadly, this love story wasn't destined to have a happy ending. How shocked we were when Father Francis was revealed to neither a Father nor a Francis and was infact a conman by the name of Nathan Harker, who was eventually carted off by the cops leaving Carmel, and us, broken hearted. The cad.
About Richard Winsor
Richard enjoyed a fabulous career as a dancer before moving over to Hollyoaks. He rose to stardom last summer playing 'Tomas' in the hit British film Streetdance 3D. He's also worked on Broadway with award winning choreographer Matthew Bourne. Richard has starred in a number of Bourne's productions including travelling the world as 'Edward' in Bourne's hugely successful Edward Scissorhands. His most recent role saw Richard perform as 'the Swan' in Matthew Bourne's Swan Lake...oh, and Elle magazine voted Richard 'sexiest dancer in the world' last year!
