Ah, long-suffering Amy Barnes!
She's seen some dramas - and then some! Mum to Leah and Lucas, she gave birth to both of them on the kitchen floor and suffered in an abusive relationship with Lucas' dad Ste. Her mum went mad and her sister Sarah was killed in a tragic skydiving incident (yes, you did read that right) - and let's not forget how she and the kids almost died in the Il Gnosh fire...
Things seemed to be on the up when she started seeing Hollyoaks ledge Lee Hunter. Despite a LOT of (slightly psychotic) interference from Lee's ex Leanne the two got engaged - only for Lee to be spirited away by a job offer in New York. Oh noes!
Now we see a single and more confident Amy. Bezzy mates with her ex Ste, she isn't afraid to stick up for herself (especially during her many run-ins with one Brendan Brady) and knows how to let her hair down, having previously enjoyed bedroom shenanigans with the delectable Dodger, the lucky thing.
So far 2012 has seen her start dating hot Aussie hunk Ally, have a heart to heart with old flame Josh and discover that Brendan in now her landlord (much to her chagrin we might add). Never a dull moment with our Miss Barnes!
