Hollyoaks - Annalise Appleton (played Tamaryn Payne)

We'd better make sure there are no spelling mistakes in this because Annalise will not stand for it! The ultimate perfectionist, this well groomed PR student likes to keep things clean, organized and under (her) control – a trait of hers which, during Freshers week, earned her the nickname ‘anal – ise’!

For a woman with such a love of the orderly, Annalise has had a surprisingly messy romantic life. Once upon a time she called herself Rob’s girlfriend, but all too often had to play second fiddle to his other mistresses – i.e rugby and a good night out.

Annalise found herself a knight in shining armour (or trainers) in the form of Scott, who always seemed to be on hand to help when Rob let her down. After months of awkward conversations and moments of Unresolved Sexual Tension (UST) between Annalise and Scott, eventually she decided to break up with her rugby-playing, beer-funnelling, lovely-cheek-boned boyf Rob.

Scott didn’t hop into Rob’s side of the bed straight away though. Still we had to endure more weeks of painful, awkward UST until FINALLY they admitted how they both felt. And Rob was surprisingly gracious in defeat too – a true sportsman!

So, Scandalise – a couple, finally! Well, for a little bit at least. It all went pear-shaped when they moved in together at the start of second year uni. The bickering started. The bickering! Feeling that there wasn’t enough to hold him in Hollyoaks Village, Scott jetted off for a new life in Thailand, leaving behind Annalise – once again single and ready to mingle.
