Cheryl Brady (played by Bronagh Waugh)
Cheryl came into Hollyoaks Laters in 2008 as the 'tart with a heart' from Belfast, who had a massive crush on Zak Ramsey. With the propensity to fall in love at the drop of a hat, Cheryl found it hard to come to terms with her first love Malachy seeing Mercedes. She resented the hold Mercedes had over Mal and found it hard to forgive her for the way she treated him.
Since winning big on the lottery, Cheryl is now lording it up as Queen of Clubs, with her own place Chez-Chez, which she runs with brother Brendan and local gangster Warren Fox. For a long time, Brendan could no wrong in the eyes of his sister - the model, honest businessman. That's why she got the shock of her life when he came out as a violent, abusive, closet homosexual who had been, by turns, sleeping with and beating up one of their barmen Ste Hay for the best part of the last year! Poor Cheryl!

Bronagh's first acting gig was in the Thai soap Khrop Khrua Angrit. She's also presented on MTV Asia and appeared in Miss Conception alongside Heather Graham.
