If you're looking for an honest, loyal friend, look no further than Esther Bloom. Kind, self-less and unobtrusive, Esther is someone you'd definitely want to keep around.
She first arrived in the village in quite a dramatic style, by breaking into the Osbornes' house and subsequently being knocked out by unaware Tom. It came to light that she was in fact Frankie's long lost granddaughter - which is probably the only viable excuse for breaking into someone's house - and they took her in.
Her talent and aptitude for fashion designing has given her confidence, despite being treated somewhat like a human punch-bag for most of her life. She's confident, but not cocky. Stylish, but not obsessed.
In the few years that she's been a Hollyoaks resident, Esther has been through it all. With the amount of things that go wrong for poor Bloom, we're confident that the theory of karma has been disproved. Although she had always been at the end of Ruby's sharp-tongued jibes, when she attended sixth form she was relentlessly bullied for months, which culminated in a suicide attempt in January.
Despite this tragedy, Esther is a strong person who knows who she is.
Before landing the part of Esther, Jazmine had been involved in a few children's TV roles, including the role of Kirsty in the BBC's Johnny and the Bomb.
We spoke to Jazz to get inside her head...
